On November 7th 2023 premiered at Lionesa Business Hub, the exhibition, “INFERNO – DANTE’S JOURNEY THROUGH THE HAND OF ANTÓNIO CARNEIRO”. This latest project is the result of months of collaboration and synergy between complementarily different teams united by a single purpose:

To inspire.

The exhibition has been designed to narrate Dante’s journey resembling a majestic sailboat, with its abstract representation evoking both the Inferno and Purgatory. The narrative serves as a metaphor for human life, inviting visitors to embark on a journey and reflect on the intricate stories portrayed in the nine infernal circles through António Carneiro’s drawings, which act as an illustrated window.

The objective was to inspire people in their everyday lives through a timeless Italian literature materpiece and a unique Portuguese Artist embarking on this journey called life, with its difficulties and the hope, indeed the certainty, of light as the destination.

The exhibition is the result of a partnership between Lionesa Business Hub, Lionesa Group, the #MNSR Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis, and the #ASCIPDA – Associazione Socio-Culturale Italiana del Portogallo Dante Alighieri.

The words cannot describe the feeling of having done something that goes beyond a simple project, but of trying to convey through a story, a message of beauty, inspiration, and hope through a concept that may seem obscure, the Inferno, but in reality, it’s a journey to encounter the light.
